Under the leadership of Wang Shihua, the R&D team and the State Key Laboratory of Fiber Materials Modification of Donghua University innovatively adopted the dry-spun polyimide fiber process technology, and proposed and established a new mechanism of “reaction spinning” for the first time. At present, the project products have been successfully applied in the fields of high temperature resistant filter materials, which effectively promoted the leap-forward development of high-performance fiber localization and achieved remarkable economic and social benefits. Based on the production technology of dry spinning polyimide, the fiber modification research, process technology optimization and product application development are carried out, and a polyimide production line with an annual output of 3,000 tons is built.
