The industry needs to increase the tolerance of cotton price fluctuations without excessive tension.

Some enterprises expressed concern about China’s huge cotton stocks. Zhang Xianbin said that companies are assured that since the country has adjusted the price of cotton to the market, the country will not easily regulate and control the fluctuation of cotton prices. At the national level, the state will prevent the ups and downs of cotton prices, but it will not easily sell the state reserve cotton and suppress the market. From a regulatory point of view, the state will prevent speculation and spot market speculation and fight against fair competition in the market. behavior.

China's cotton quality has always been a concern for textile companies. Right now, cotton picking is basically over and cotton acquisition is coming to an end. Gao Fang, vice president of the China Cotton Association, said that this year, China's cotton planting has seen a decline in area and quality, but the quality of cotton has been significantly better than in previous years. In particular, the implementation of the cotton inventory public inspection system has forced cotton companies to focus on the quality of cotton from the point of purchase. In the past, the phenomenon of mixed grades and mixed varieties has basically disappeared.

Although China's cotton quality has improved this year, for cotton textile companies, it is far from meeting the production needs of high-grade products. Zhou Yu, the head of the first cotton textile factory in Wuxi City, said that at present, for companies, the inventory and price of cotton are not a problem, and the most important issue is the quality of cotton.

Zhang Hongxia, chairman of Shandong Weiqiao Textile Co., Ltd., also stated that this year, Xinjiang's cotton quality is better, but the heterosexual fiber problem is very serious, especially machine-picked cotton, high impurity content, the plastic film used in the planting process, was The inhalation of the cotton picker into the cotton brings great trouble to the production of the textile enterprises.

In this regard, Liang East Asia, vice chairman of the Xinjiang Brigade Cotton Association, said that cotton farmers are the most hope is to reduce production costs, so the machine-picking cotton is the general direction of cotton cultivation. Textile companies raised the serious problem of plastic film pollution, we are also stepping up improvement. Previously, cotton was grown with 0.07 to 0.08 mm film. From next year, films below 0.1 mm will be eliminated. After the film is thickened, it will not be. There was a problem with the cotton picker. In addition, in terms of improving the quality of cotton, Xinjiang has been making active explorations. Starting with the emphasis on the selection of cotton seeds, a division can only select one or two cotton varieties, and in the processing of cotton, greater efforts are made to remove impurities and reduce cotton. Most companies suggest that cotton policy reform should focus on the entire industry chain of cotton spinning. The selection of cotton varieties should follow the needs of the market, and they should not blindly pursue high yields; they should strictly manage the cotton processing link to avoid damage to cotton; inspections should pay more attention to the short-haul rate, micronaire value and other aspects that are closely related to the production of enterprises; The method should be as convenient as possible for cotton textile enterprises to get suitable cotton; reasonable arrangements for the transport of cotton out of the country and reduce transport costs.

Zhang Xianbin said that this year is the first year of implementation of the cotton direct subsidies policy, and the cotton policy will continue to improve.
