From January to September this year, Vietnam’s textile and apparel exports exceeded US$1 billion.

According to Vietnam’s “Prices of Material Market” report recently, from the end of January to the end of this year, Vietnam’s 13 kinds of products exceeded US$1 billion in exports. They were: textiles, clothing, crude oil, footwear, aquatic products, rice, timber and their products. , mechanical equipment and accessories, computers and their parts, precious stones, precious metals and their products, coffee, steel and mineral products, and rubber.

Vietnam's export prices for various products have risen this year, with rubber up 83%; ore up 52%; crude oil up 39.6%; pepper up 38.4%; and cashew up 19%. The increase in export prices alone has added 2.5 billion U.S. dollars to Vietnam’s income.

Since the nine months of this year, Vietnam’s product exports have been mainly concentrated in the Asian market, accounting for 48% of total exports, an increase of 28% year-on-year. Among them, the ASEAN market accounted for 16.5%, an increase of 15%. Exports to the Americas accounted for 23%, an increase of 24% year-on-year. Exports to the European market accounted for 22%, a year-on-year decrease of 4.4%.
