Thousands of Vietnamese garment workers demand higher wages

In Vietnam, an Ivory Garment plant set up by South Koreans has about 2,000 workers**, who are demanding to increase their wages and allowances to the same level as Other local factories.

After the local trade group stepped in to assist the workers in negotiating with the capital, the plant in the Vu Thu administrative district in the town of Thai Binh has now agreed to some of the workers' requests and the peace ended. It is understood that the Korean factory's exports include jackets, vests, coats, and pants.
